Description of the Service
Marist University uses Panopto as an external tool that allows educators to record classes from multiple cameras, presentations, and screens. Content can be securely and easily shared between students and professors. Panopto also allows for live broadcasting and monitoring viewer behavior to ensure engagement. It also offers a secure video library that educators can access and search through, and it can even be paired with Zoom for saving any recording as needed.
As a video content managing platform, Panopto can be used
-
to allow students to record and submit presentations to professors;
-
as a storage space for class videos, presentations, or lectures;
-
to track engagement among students on specific assignments.
