Description of The Service
HP and a couple of other brands include a return label in every new printer toner/drum carton. You can use this label to ship your used cartridge back to an authorized HP recycler. Repack your used cartridge in the same packaging material the new one was shipped in, seal the carton, and apply the return label to the carton and put it in your outgoing mail pick-up location.
Alternatively, empty toner containers and imaging units/drums can be brought to the Digital Publications Center for shipment back to a recycling processor.
Empty toner containers and imaging drums from Xerox and Konica/Minolta MFDs can be sent to the DPC for recycling. Please repackage these units in the packaging materials from the new replacement units.

- Put the unit’s drum shield on the drum
- Place the unit in the plastic bag if there is one and seal it
- Reuse the molded paper end pieces or plastic shell to protect it
- Put the unit in its replacement’s carton and seal.
